Approximately Ninety Flights Associated to Jeffrey Epstein Reportedly Came to or from UK Airfields
An investigation has found that close to 90 aircraft journeys associated to Jeffrey Epstein allegedly touched down at and left British airports, with some allegedly transporting British women who allege they were abused by the found guilty child sex offender.
Aviation Records Uncover Trail of Movement
The travel manifests were part of a trove of court documents and papers made public by Epsteinâs estate that have been made public over the previous twelve months. The analysis uncovered 87 flights linked to Epstein â including many that were previously unknown â coming into or leaving from UK airports between the early 1990s and 2018.
Onboard Individuals and Post-Conviction Flights
Unidentified women were listed among the passengers travelling into and out of the UK. Significantly, 15 of these British airport journeys took place following Epsteinâs 2008 conviction for procuring prostitution from a child.
âIt was âastonishingâ that there had never been a âfull-scale UK investigationâ into his dealings in the country,â said American attorneys acting for numerous Epstein survivors.
UK Survivors and Legal Proceedings
Testimony from one of the UK-based survivors aided the conviction of Epsteinâs accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell of child sex-trafficking in the US in 2021. However, that victim has not been approached by UK authorities, according to her attorney based in Florida.
In a response, the the Met said they had ânot been provided with any new evidence that would support reopening the probe.â They noted, âIf fresh and pertinent evidence be presented to us, including any resulting from the disclosure of material in the US, we will evaluate it.â
Continuing Document Release and Legal Rulings
A bill to make public every document held by the American government in regarding Epstein was approved by the US Congress last month. The Department of Justice has until 19 December to adhere to this requirement. A vast number of files are expected to be released.
Separately, a US judge ruled last week that the DOJ could publicly release investigative materials from a trafficking prosecution against Maxwell, Epsteinâs close friend, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence over the charges.
