Trump's Family Member Receives Expert Advice from Tiger Woods Prior to LPGA First Appearance
The rising star has impressive online presence
The young golfer will have multiple well-known supporters when she starts her first LPGA appearance on Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, received a tournament invitation to compete at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, possesses several international courses and frequently plays against his granddaughter.
"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we play tight competitions," she mentioned.
She mentioned that her grandfather, who won't be present, counseled her: "Just stay calm."
"He basically advised me to compete and have fun," she continued.
"From my perspective, he's just an ordinary family member. He's not attending this weekend. He's occupied with presidential duties, so he's quite busy."
As an amateur, Kai has participated in only three events recently and holds position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.
Yet she's able to get advice from golf legend, who is dating Kai's mother.
"He is the best player globally," Kai stated.
"Additionally, he's a superior individual. He suggested me to compete, enjoy myself, following the flow."
Kai will face several top competitors in professional golf at the competition, such as world number two Nelly Korda, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.
Officials commented that involving Kai exposes the sport to different demographics, especially among younger fans.
The social media influencer maintains substantial online presence and has started a personal apparel and wellness label.
She begins at late afternoon GMT.
